Running a 24/7 AI Agent on a Mac Mini: 18 Cron Jobs, Zero Babysitting

A developer named witcheer (@witcheer on X) has been running an autonomous AI agent on a Mac Mini M4 for two months straight. Not as a weekend experiment. As actual infrastructure. 14 launchd agents, 25+ shell scripts, research crons, a Telegram bot, RSS monitoring, memory files, the whole thing. Running continuously. No babysitting.

Then they migrated from OpenClaw to Hermes Agent in three hours. The 5 research crons became 15. They added a competitor dashboard, Dune Analytics monitoring, a Telegram channel auto-drafter, content performance tracking, an outreach CRM, and a learning digest. All configured in natural language instead of crontab syntax.
